You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

You should also read, and ensure persons that you book into a cooking class are aware of and read, our Privacy Policy (to find out what kind of information we collect about you, how we use and safeguard such information and your rights and choices in relation to this).

Terms for Competitions and Promotions

We reserve the right to cancel offers or promotions at any time and they are always subject to availability.

By purchasing our online cooking course you agree to the following

  1. You have permission to act on another person’s behalf when you provide their personal information to us, and create an account for them, and that you and any other persons registered on our website have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

  2. You have 5 days to try the course, starting on the day and at the time of purchase. Within this time you have the right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund by contact us. Due to the nature of pre-recorded courses, you lose the right to a full refund after 5 days of purchasing the course. If you need any help accessing the course or have any other questions, please contact us.

  3. The content of this online course is intellectual property of Hamed Sharafi. You are not to share or duplicate it in any way. Allowing third parties access to your account and our Service is strictly forbidden and will result in us taking legal action without prior warning.

  4. You acknowledge, that it is impossible for us to safeguard your health and safety in a pre-recorded online course and you are ultimately responsible for your own health and safety.

  5. You alone are responsible to ensure ingredients you purchase to create dishes demonstrated in this course are suitable for your own health needs, and safely transported, stored and (if applicable) prepared.

  6. You will indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, liabilities and causes of action which may arise as a result of:

    1. your preparation, storage, re-heating and consumption of food.

    2. any injuries or damages you sustain, or that your guest or anyone affiliated with or connected with you, may sustain in connection with or resulting directly or indirectly from your or your guest’s, or affiliated or connected person’s, involvement while watching and implementing instructions demonstrated in this cooking course.

  7. Our liability to you shall not exceed the total price charged for any course you have paid for.

  8. It is your responsibility to pay for and ensure you have the ingredients and equipment required to participate in the online cooking course. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, reschedule an online class, pay for the cost of ingredients or equipment, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to fulfil those requirements.

  9. If you book an online cooking course, it is your responsibility to ensure you have the technical capability (such as software and internet speed) to access the course. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, provide technical support, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to attend or participate fully in an online cooking class due to any technical issues.

HAMI'S MIZ — SUPPER CLUB BOOKINGS

The following additional terms apply specifically to bookings for Hami's Miz, the private supper club experience hosted in Berkshire, in addition to the general terms above.

About Hami's Miz

Hami's Miz is a private dining experience hosted in Berkshire, United Kingdom. It is not a licensed restaurant — it is a private chef hosting paying guests at a private table for a curated evening of food, conversation, and Persian hospitality. The exact location is shared by email with confirmed guests one week before their evening. Guests agree not to share this address publicly on social media, online reviews, or in any other public forum.

Booking & Payment

All bookings are made online at hamisharafi.com/supper-clubs. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent. Maximum capacity is six (6) guests for shared evenings, or up to eight (8) guests for private buy-outs. Guests must be 18 years or older, unless attending as part of a private buy-out where minors are pre-agreed in writing.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Guests must declare allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements at the time of booking. Hami's Miz makes every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary needs, including vegetarian options at every evening. The kitchen is not allergen-free. Cross-contamination is possible. While care is taken, no guarantees can be made regarding traces of nuts, dairy, gluten, or other allergens. Guests with severe allergies accept this risk by booking and are responsible for carrying their own medication. Failure to disclose dietary requirements at booking releases Hami's Miz from any liability for adverse reactions.

Cancellations & Refunds

More than 14 days before the event: full refund minus a £25 admin fee per seat.

Between 7 and 14 days before: 50% refund.

Less than 7 days before: non-refundable. However, your seat is transferable to another named guest with at least 48 hours' notice.

If Hami cancels for any reason (illness, emergency, force majeure), guests will be offered either a full refund or transfer to a future date, at the guest's choice. Hami's Miz is not liable for any incidental costs guests may incur in the event of cancellation.

Address Confidentiality

The address of Hami's Miz is shared in confidence with confirmed guests only. By booking, you agree not to share the address publicly, not to forward it to third parties without prior consent, and to respect that this is a private home setting. Guests are welcome to share photos of the food, the table, the evening, and themselves — but not the location.

Photography & Social Media

Hami may take photographs and short video clips during the evening for use on the website, social media, and marketing materials. Identifiable photos of guests will not be published without consent. If you'd prefer not to appear in any photos at all, simply let Hami know at booking or on the night. Guests are welcome to take photos and post them online — tagging @igotitfrommymaman is appreciated. Sharing the location is not.

Alcohol

Hami's Miz is not licensed for the unrestricted retail sale of alcohol to the public. Wine pairings are served as part of the dining experience under UK law allowing the provision of food and drink at private hospitality events. Guests aged 18+ are welcome to consume the wine pairing as part of their evening, and may bring their own additional bottles of wine or beer. Hami reserves the right to refuse further alcohol service to any guest at any time.

Conduct

Hami's Miz is a shared, intimate experience. Guests agree to behave with courtesy and respect toward Hami, their fellow guests, and the property. Hami reserves the right to ask any guest to leave if their behaviour disrupts the evening for other guests, causes damage, involves intoxication beyond a reasonable level, or includes harassment or inappropriate conduct of any kind. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hami's Miz is not liable for personal property loss or theft during your visit; travel disruption, delays, or costs incurred in attending or returning from an event; or adverse reactions to food where dietary requirements were not disclosed at booking. The total liability of Hami's Miz to any guest, for any reason, shall not exceed the amount paid by that guest for their seat. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited under UK law.

Data & Privacy

Booking information (name, email, mobile number, dietary requirements, party details) is collected only to manage your booking and communicate with you about your evening. This information is never sold or shared with third parties, is stored securely within Squarespace's systems, and is deleted within 12 months of your event unless you've opted in to receive future updates. Children & Minors

Shared Hami's Miz evenings are for adults aged 18 and over. For private buy-outs, well-behaved children are welcome by prior arrangement — please mention any guests under 18 when booking.
